Green Bay Fishing Report
Got out with Capt. Bob from Finfanatic Charters breaking in his new Cedar Lake Sales & Service Yar-Craft—awesome ride and even better company.
We started the late afternoon casting the east shore, working super shallow water. Throwing 1/2 oz On The Fly hair jigs and 3/8 oz gold jigs paired with Keitech 4" Easy Shiner plastics, we were casting into as little as 3 feet of water. Managed to boat 6 solid post-spawn walleyes doing that.
As the sun started dropping, we switched it up and set lines to troll the shoreline. Pulling Renosky baits and P10s, we picked up another 3 post-spawn walleyes. Capt. Bob kept us dialed in, holding the boat in 8–12 FOW while running boards 20–60 feet back, working from the shallow side out.
The bite is shaping up nice—should only keep getting better from here.
Good luck out there and tight lines!
